CEDROS - ALPAMAYO
TREK (11 DAYS)
Day 01: Huaraz
- Cashapampa - Llamacorral
From the hotel a private
bus will transfer us until Cashapampa, passing for differents
towns. When we arrive to
Cashapampa. We will meet to donkey driver and our hiking
equipments; from here we starting to walk for 2 hours
and half, where we will stop our hiking to have lunch.
After that we continue hiking until first camp (Llamacorral).
Overnight camping at (3,800 masl).
Day 02: Llamacorral
- Taullipampa.
Today we will hike along the valley moderate enjoying
the beautiful lagoons called Ichikcocha and Jatuncocha,
turquoise lagoons, then we will arrive to a nice spot
where will have lunch at the place called Quisuar. We
will go up to the Alpamayo south campo base, then after
to take pictures, we will return short walk then continue
for few hours to the next camp place called Taullipampa
camping at (4,200 masl).
Day 03: Taullipampa - Tuctu
Early in the morning after the Andean breakfast. We will
start hiking to the Paso Punta Union at (4,750 masl).
We will climb zigzag path, then we will get the pass around
11 am. Then after to enjoy nice views we will descent
to the nice lagoons Morococha to have lunch, then after
few hours walking we will arrive to the camp place Tuctupampa
at (4,200 masl) overnight camping.
Day 04: Tuctu -
Quisuar.
After the breakfast in the Camp we will start to hike
at 8:00 am approximately, going up to Paso Pucajirca (4,640
masl) for about 2 hours. Where we can enjoy the nice views
of higher picks suc as: Taulliraju, Chacraraju, Chopicalqui,
etc; after to enjoy this views we will go down to Quisuar
passing the Huecroncocha lagoon for about 3 hours. Overnight
Camping at (3,950 masl).
Day 05: Quisuar
- Jancapampa.
After the breakfast in the Camp We will start to hike
at 8:00am, moderate going up to Paso Tutpatupampa
(4,400 masl) for about 3 hours, where we can enjoy the
nice views of Contrahierva, Chopicalqui, Taulliraju and
PucajircaMounts; after enjoy the splendid views we start
godown to Jancapampa for about 3 hours and more. Overnight
Camping at (3,960 masl).
Day 06: Jancapampa
- Huillca.
After the breakfast in Jancapampa we will start to going
up at 8:00am to Paso Remate at (4,600 masl) for about
4 to 5 hours, where we can see the nice views of Pucajirca
and Champara Mounts, then we will start go down to Huillca
for about 3 hours. Overnight Camping at (4,000 masl).
Day 07: Huillca - Tayapampa.
After the breakfast in Huillca we will start to hike at
8:00am to Paso Mesapata at (4,460 masl) for about 2 hours
and half, where we can enjoy the nice views, then we will
start going down to Tayapampa for about 2 hours more.
Overnight Camping at (4,500 masl).
Day 08: Tayapampa
- Jancarurish - Ruinapampa.
After the breakfast in Tayapampa we will start to climbing
up at 8:00 am to Paso Caracara at (4,830 masl) for about
2 hours, where we can enjoy the splendid views of Alpamayo
North Face, Quitaraju, Santa Cruz and Millua raju mounts,
then we will start go down to Jancarurish for about 2
hours, then we will continue going down to Ruinapampa
for about 2 hours or more. Overnight Camping at (4,025
masl).
Day 09: Ruinapampa
- Osoruri.
After the breakfast in Ruinapampa we will start to climb
up to Paso Jatunvientona at (4,750 masl) for about 3 hours,
where we can see the nice views of Milluaraju, and Santa
Cruz Mount, then we will start going down to Osoruri for
about 1 hour. Overnight Camping at(4,560 masl).
Day 10: Osoruri
- Cullicocha - Calamina.
After the breakfast in Osoruri we will start to climbing
up to Paso Cullicocha at (4,850 masl) for about 1 hour
and half, where we can enjoy the nice views of mounts
such as: Santa Cruz, Huandoy, Huascaran and the splendid
views of Cullicocha lagoon at (4628masl), then we will
start going down to Calamina for about 3 hours. Overnight
Campingat (3,850 masl).
Day 11: Calamina
- Hualcayan - Huaraz.
After the breakfast in Calamina we will start going down
to Hualcayan at (3,000 masl) for about 3 hours, where
our private transfer will be waiting for us to transport
to Huaraz for about 3 hours or more. Arriving to Huaraz
around 3 or 4 pm. approximately. Transfer to the Hotel.
